A Decade!

It's Official!  As of August 3rd, this birthday boy has been with us for an entire DECADE!:)

Apple Smiles

Cute after school treat - or halloween treat! :)

Apple Smiles

This snack is easy to prepare and will certainly bring a smile to your child's face!

Ingredients
smooth peanut butter
1 red apple, cored and sliced into eighths
squeeze of lemon juice
miniature marshmallows

Directions
Spread peanut butter on one side of each apple slice (squeeze a little lemon juice over the apple if not serving immediately). Place four miniature marshmallows on one apple slice and then lay another apple slice, peanut butter side down, on top.

This is Kid Cudi - the rapper!

And this is his namesake....Cudi (pronounced Cuddy)....the blue heeler...our new puppy!  Basically, he's child #5!

Back-2-School

It's great to have them home for the summer....

and it's great to have them go back to school!:)

Luckily, I still have one at home to keep me company!  I don't know if I'll be as happy for school to start when the day comes that I'm  home alone!  But til' then....HAPPY DAY!:)

A little bit Country

My LITTLE cousin Weston got married this summer! 

I still remember when he was born - I was in college at BYU!

Kenna's first parade (as a participant).  She was so excited ...by the end, she had cart-wheeled, flipped and tumbled her way to exhaustion!:)  She loved it!

My favorite float...our accountant's wife owns this store and created this float...it was beautiful.  Too bad I was surrounded by ALL boys at the parade - none of whom shared my enthusiasm for this float!:)

After the parade is breakfast at IHOP as usual!

We were visited by the balloon lady while eating breakfast!

After a fun BBQ we ended the night with a rock climbing wall and lots of fireworks!

Summer Fun - in increments!

Once again I am so far behind on blogging I have to catch up in small little increments....

So, here goes...

SUMMER FUN - Part 1

Summer began with a great discovery....the teenager's hangout ... Farmington Pond!:)  CJ wasn't so happy we discovered it, but it is a great place to take a picnic, feed the ducks, hike, jump off the rope swing, explore and RELAX!  We spent lots of time there with good friends....ahhhhh summer!

 Wish these summer days could last forever!:)
