The {Night} Life of a Sleepwalker's Wife!

I am the wife of the world's worst sleepwalker. Maybe I should say BEST sleepwalker because he is an EXPERT!:) I've been trying to figure out why I'm so tired lately...MAYBE it's because....
1. Bears are wrestled in my bedroom almost every night
2. I assist in moving HUGE granite slabs when required by "the sleepwalker!"
3. All night long I listen to ramblings (in Spanish) of instructions being given to crews of men working construction!
4. Just last night I had to hold onto the bed post until I could convince Brad that Jace was NOT stranded on top of it. My job was to hold the bed post until Brad could get help!
5. At least a couple of nights a week are spent convincing Brad that the walls are not caving in and he doesn't need to stand there shouting orders at me to "get out of the room" while he holds the wall up!
6. Some nights I am mistaken for an intruder and held down til' I can convince Brad it is just me....just me, trying to sleep!

Anyone feel my pain!? :)
I'm Exhausted! But, it's his only flaw so I'll keep at it!:)

Ahhh! New Hair!

I DID IT! I cut my hair off and.....I really like it! Whew! It's a scary thing to do when you need as much hair as you can get to cover up the aging face! You know, the jowls that start to droop, forehead lines....I prefer to call them lines instead of wrinkles, the chicken skin on the neck....etc! I'm making it sound like I'm 80 when I'm only halfway there....but still, it's all beginning to hit at once and I was afraid that shorter hair would accentuate that fact. So, you would be proud of me - I threw caution to the wind and went short. It's a fun change for a girl who is afraid of change!:)

Unfortunately....my camera won't download the pictures....so I'll have to wait til' Brad gets home (and can HELP me) to post a picture. Thanks for all the haircut advice....I actually did a mix of the 3 pictures posted.

The Sign of a Good Dad!

You know your kids have a good dad when.....he wears an Ariel wig and tolerates having his "hair" combed and coiffed just to please his only daughter! :) At least it matches his shirt!

In my humble opinion.....

My Opinion: The Reading Ward scouts are the luckiest scouts around....to have had Brad & Jerem for their leaders. These guys have way too much fun!

My Opinion: Scouting is a great program!

My Opinion: The reward for earning merit badges should not be "driving time!"
Dad & CJ disagree with this opinion.....:)

My Opinion: Carson should not be happy about riding in the backseat with CJ at the wheel.
My Final Opinion: CJ's driving makes me age.....look at those neck lines....I look like I'm 80!:)

Only a couple of weeks behind! :)

Aren't they cute? Wish they could stay this age forever! First day of school, August 24, 2009. I love this age because they're still so excited about school and having their picture taken. No pictures of CJ this year.... he has put his foot down!:)

It was a fun summer, but mom is very happy for the first day of school! See mom smile! :)
After school treat. First day of school = trip to Dairy Queen to celebrate!
