Orange Belt for Carson!

Sensai & Carson

This has been a big week for Carson! First Kindergarten graduation, and now this.....orange belt in karate! His greatest moment in life these days is passing off a belt in karate. He lives for it!:)

Last Day of School!

Carson and mom headed to school....one last time this year!

Ceej, the 6th grade graduate, too cool to turn around for a pic!

Kenna, sporting a blue pony-tail for crazy hair day on the last day!

Jace, admiring the kindergarten grad's tassle!

Mom doesn't know whether to cry or jump for joy when the last bell rings. Love not having the schedule and all the homework but I'm not yet ready for the fun to begin....you know, the nagging, whining, crying, boredom fun!:)

Good Trade!

Ceej came up with the best "trade" the world has ever known. If he could be quiet (not even a sound) from Cedar City to Centerville (4hrs.) he would be the proud new owner of a ripstick! It was the best 4 hours of my life! Kenna & Carson bartered for new bike tires (interesting??). Brad & I were thrilled with the trades. We definitely got the better end of that deal! Silence is "priceless" at our house!:)

The Graduate!

Here's Kesh and her friend Nat before braving the rain and heading to graduation. Gorgeous girls! Unfortunately, the flash on my camera decided not to work the entire trip so indoor picts. didn't turn out so well!

Great Friends!

Our favorite neighbors moved to Scottsdale last year and we FINALLY got to see them again! We all went to dinner and caught up on life and then the kids had a sleepover! We had fun swimming the next day with everyone! It was soooo great to see them again! We love the Empey's!

Get Well Soon Gigi!

We got to visit with Gigi before leaving Mesa on Sunday! She spent Mother's Day weekend in the hospital and has been home recuperating. It was fun to see her - we wish her a speedy recovery!

Rainy AZ!

Can't believe it! We finally get out of rainy, cold, UT - expecting a sunny state to be awaiting! I had visions of laying by the pool all weekend while the kids swam....no such luck. I've never seen AZ weather like this. It's cold, windy, and rainy. We're jinxed, but still having a great time. Keshia's graduation was held outside in the pouring rain - I'm sure they'll never forget it....all the grads were drenched! Still glad we came.....if you need rain in your neck of the woods, just let us know, we'll come visit and I'm sure it will POUR!:)

We're Outta Here!

We're headed to Mesa, AZ this week for Keshia's high school graduation. Can't wait to see some new scenery! We're excited for Keshia - when I first met her (before Brad and I were engaged) she was sitting in a high chair in a restaurant in Lordsburg, NM. She was singing (at the top of her lungs)....Keshia Noella jumpin' on the bed...!;) She was only two then! And now, she's all grown up!

My Dear Sisters by President Hinckley

Love this book! It's illustrated by almost 30 LDS artists and it is soooo inspirational! It's an easy read....hard to forget! Pres. Hinckley had such a great love and respect for women.

Sundance Catalog | Doris Dress

Sundance Catalog Doris Dress

My favorite place to shop - Sundance Catalog! I do alot of window shopping here because it's on the pricey side - the things I have bought, I LOVE! I found it a couple of years ago...if you need a new look, save your pennies and spend 'em here! If nothing else, have them send you the catalog...their jewelry is amazing! http://www.sundancecatalog.com/

Sunburned?????

Finally....a warm day in UT! It rained & snowed yesterday....tomorrow it will probably hail! Kenna & her friends surprised us with a "Sunburn" to celebrate the warm weather! Luckily, that sunburn came off in the bath tonight!:)

A new car for a lucky mama!

When it comes to cars, the Turley (well, the Brad Turley) philosophy is this: If it's paid for, then use it til' it just can't be used no more!:) There's no keeping up with the Jones' at our house!:) So, our poor little car huffed and puffed into the dealership and we said our goodbyes! Now, the whole fam can fit in the car at one time and we can enjoy a few road trips together this summer! Can't wait! What a great Mother's Day bonus!

If only Brad had this same philosophy when it came to trucks! :)

Cinco De Mayo

Our family celebrates this Mexican Holiday for 2 reasons. One, it's Brad's birthday....always a great reason for a fiesta ! And two, Brad is from Mexico! His parents still live in Colonia Juarez, Chihuahua, MX where he was born and raised. We lived there for four years right after C.J. was born and love to go back and visit! We kind of feel like we're from there too! Viva Mexico!

Feliz Cumpleanos! May 5th!
