I love that our elementary school puts on a 6th grade dance every year!
They teach the 6th graders all different styles of dance (two step, swing, etc.).
Everyone dresses up...boys in shirts and ties, girls in dresses.
Dance Cards are handed out - each card tells them what style of dance they must do and what boy they will be dancing with.
The whole thing has a theme and is decorated so cute.
Refreshments are served...
And the kids have a great time...all while learning proper dance steps and etiquette. :)
I love the 6th grade dance too! It's so fun for everyone involved!
